Conrad and Sally Walden are home alone with their pet fish. It is raining outside, and Conrad and Sally are bored out of their minds. Until The Cat in the Hat walks in the front door like he owns the place and he introduces them to their imagination, and at first, it's all fun and games until things get out of hand, and the Cat must go, go, go, before their parents get back home.
This novel introduces The Cat in The Hat is life. I breathe Cat in The Hat near the start of the movie he is immediately made out to be a fun loving, full of energy, and an imaginative cat. The Cat in The Hat comes from a world of imagination that the cat is from but then he is introduced to this new world with new thinks to make up Conrad and Sally's of fun. The Cat over does it but Conrad and Sally always had to clean up the cats mess.
Conrad and Sally are immediately introduced at the very start of the book and seem to be very bored just like every other day. They don't know what to do but they are intertwined with a Cat in a Hat through the whole book that was crazily fun for them but Conrad and sally always would have to clean up after the Cat. As the Cat was teaching Conrad and sally things they were also teaching the Cat things about not making a mess every time and to also on tidying.
